The duo—the Shins’ James Mercer and producer Danger Mouse—have posted Shelter after a long pause was broken by a flurry of social media updates. Their last LP, ‘After The Disco’, was released in 2014.
The song will hit a sweet spot for existing fans, combining a sweeping vocal melody from Mercer with understated, skittering beats.
