The Steve Hillage Band Line Up First Dates In 40 Years For June

The Steve Hillage Band have announced their first live dates in 40 years.
Hillage will play with Gong as his backing band at the Junction in Cambridge on June 6, Manchester's O2 Ritz on June 7 and London's O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire on June 8.
The set will be based around Hillage's first four solo albums, 1975's 'Fish Rising', 1976's 'L', 1977's 'Motivation Radio' and 1978's 'Green'. He recently released a box set, 'Searching For The Spark'.
"I put an enormous amount of energy into the 'Searching For The Spark' box set, and I intend to put the same amount of energy into these live shows. I’ve got fantastic musicians working with me - these shows are going to be really special!"
Tickets for the shows go on general sale at 9.30am on December 14.
