Lenny Henry has announced an autumn UK tour.
An Evening with Lenny Henry: Who Am I, Again? will head to Birmingham, Sheffield, York, London, Bexhill On Sea, Watford, Basingstoke, Leeds, Hulll, Gateshead, Edinburgh, Blackpool, Manchester, Bradford, Liverpool, Hackney, Southampton, Plymouth, Oxford, Bournemouth, Nottingham, Tunbridge Wells, Cardiff, Coventry, Northampton, Southend, Leicester, Dudley, Portsmouth, Cambridge, Ipswich, Wolverhampton, Bath and Stoke between between October 20 and November 29.

The trek promptly follows up the October 3 release of his book, Who Am I, Again?. The first part of the shows will include stories about growing up in the Black Country, his school years, friendships, family secrets and racism. The second part will see Lenny interviewed by friend, broadcaster and author Jon Canter, and take questions from audience. Lenny said:
“I’m looking forward to travelling around and telling these stories. Writing the book was a huge feat and I’m very proud of it - I can’t wait to share more stories and fun about growing up in the Midlands, my early days in the clubs, pubs and discotheques and of course working on Tiswas, Three of a Kind and The Lenny Henry Show. The show promises to be an evening of memories, laughter and fun - I can’t wait to get started.”
