Girl Band Announce New Album 'The Talkies', Line Up UK And Ireland Tour

Girl Band have announced a new album.
‘The Talkies’ is due to arrive on September 27 through Rough Trade and is the post-punk group’s second record, following their 2015 debut 'Holding Hands With Jamie'.
After a short stint in Europe, the Dublin-based band will support the release with tour dates in Manchester and London on November 2 and 5 respectively, and a hometown show on November 11. They also have US dates planned for October. UK tickets go on sale at 10am on June 13. European, American and Dublin dates are on sale now.
Check out the record's aggressive first cut, Shoulderblades, which opens with frontman Dara Kiely's darkly dissonant vocals panned left and right, before being joined by some piercing, tense synths.
