Tiger Army have lined up UK and European shows for the autumn.
The California psychobilly trio will put out their sixth full-length, 'Retrofuture', on September 13 via Rise Records, followed by live dates in November.
Stops include Nottingham, Manchester, Bristol, and London, where they'll play the O2 Academy Islington. Finnish post-punks Grave Pleasures support, with tickets for the shows on general sale at 10am on June 14.
Featuring 13 songs produced by Ted Hutt, 'Retrofuture' follows last summer's 'Dark Paradise' EP and their 2016 full-length 'V •••–'. Speaking about the new record, vocalist Nick 13 said:
"'Retrofuturism' is generally a visual aesthetic, but it got me thinking, it's the perfect description for our sound! The gear and instruments are mostly 1950s and 60s, but while the tones may be classic, we've always tried to push into uncharted territory musically with each release. So the idea behind this record was to create our version of what someone might imagine future rock 'n' roll sounding like, but from the perspective of the mid-20th century."
Tiger Army Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows
Mon November 25 2019 - NOTTINGHAM Rescue Rooms
Tue November 26 2019 - MANCHESTER Manchester Club Academy
Thu November 28 2019 - BRISTOL Fleece
Fri November 29 2019 - LONDON O2 Academy Islington
