Nitro World Games Heading To Cardiff's Principality Stadium In 2020

Tuesday, 11 June 2019 Written by Jon Stickler

Nitro Circus will bring the Nitro World Games to Cardiff for the first time in spring 2020.

The death defying extreme sports show will take over the Welsh capital's Principality Stadium on the Bank Holiday weekend, May 23 and 24, with tickets for the shows on sale at 10am on June 14.

Featuring over 100 competitors in freestyle motocross (FMX), BMX, skate and freestyle scooter, the games will see athletes push the boundaries of gravity for a coveted trophy and the ultimate bragging rights as a world champion. Travis Pastrana, action sports icon and co-creator of the Nitro World Games, said:

"With Nitro World Games, our mission was to allow athletes to push their sports to the next level. We wanted to give athletes bigger ramps along with innovative landing technology which allows them to push the envelope and attempt tricks previously thought impossible. To see Nitro World Games thrive after three years in the US and now crossing borders for the first time and coming to Cardiff, Wales, I couldn’t be more thrilled."

Nitro World Games Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows

Sat May 23 2020 - CARDIFF Principality Stadium
Sun May 24 2020 - CARDIFF Principality Stadium
