Wednesday, 12 June 2019 Written by Jon Stickler

A new Rush film will hit cinemas worldwide for one night only this summer.

Titled Cinema Strangiato: An Annual Exercise In Fan Indulgence, the documentary film features song performances, never seen before soundcheck and backstage footage, as well as interviews with producer Nick Raskulinecz and Rush fans including Tom Morello, Billy Corgan and Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins.

In addition to taking viewers inside Rush's 2015 final R40 Tour, there's also an interview with singer and bassist Geddy Lee, who talks about his Big Beautiful Book of Bass, which was published in December.

The film will hit select cinemas on August 21. Head here for more information.
