Bruce Springsteen's Western Stars Concert Film To Premiere At Toronto International Film Festival

Tuesday, 23 July 2019 Written by Laura Johnson

Bruce Springsteen's new concert film will premiere this autumn.

Western Stars, which shares its name with his recently released new album, is set to be unveiled at the Toronto International Film Festival, which takes place in September, though they do not confirm the exact schedule until August 20.

The film features live footage of the Boss playing his new record, as well as discussions with the man himself. Springsteen co-directed it alongside longtime collaborator Thom Zimny, a Grammy and Emmy Award-winning director who worked on the Springsteen on Broadway Netflix special, The Ties That Bind documentary about the 'The River' album, and more recently videos for tracks from 'Western Stars'.
