Whitney Release Heartfelt New Single Used To Be Lonely

Wednesday, 14 August 2019 Written by Helen Payne

Whitney have shared a new single from their forthcoming album.

Used To Be Lonely follows on from the release of Giving Up and Valleys (My Love), and is a fresh and easygoing slice of indie-Americana, perfect for taking five minutes out of a busy schedule to slow down.

Its video, directed by Chance the Rapper collaborator Austin Vesely, was shot on location in the band’s hometown of Chicago.

‘Forever Turned Around’, the duo’s second LP, is due to arrive on August 30 via Secretly Canadian. Whitney appear at Green Man Festival this weekend before heading out on tour in the UK, Europe and North America.
