Neil Young Confirms Release Date For New Crazy Horse Album 'Colorado', Shares New Song Milky Way

Friday, 30 August 2019 Written by Jon Stickler

Neil Young has confirmed the details of the new Crazy Horse album.

'Colorado' is scheduled to arrive on October 25 via Reprise Records and marks Young and band's first new music together since 2012's 'Psychedelic Pill'. It was recorded mostly in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado and was produced by Young alongside John Hanlon, with additional mixing at Shangri-La Studios in Malibu.

The new record will be available on a three-sided, double vinyl album packaged with a bonus 7” vinyl single containing non-album tracks Rainbow Of Colors and Truth Kills. It'll also be available on CD and digitally.

Head below to check out the album's artwork and the first song to be released, Milky Way, a haunting number which runs just shy of six minutes.

Young released his latest archival live LP, 'Tuscaloosa', in May, while his last studio effort 'The Visitor' arrived in 2017. Earlier this month, meanwhile, the legendary singer-songwriter announced that he would be putting the remainder of his 2019 live dates on hold in order to focus on his archival film projects.
