Jimmy Eat World Announce New Album 'Surviving', Line Up Intimate UK Shows And US Tour

Jimmy Eat World have announced a new album.
‘Surviving’ will arrive on October 18 via The Orchard and RCA Records, and the acclaimed Arizona group will support it with three intimate UK shows in October, before a more extensive run in North America.
They’ll play the Leadmill in Sheffield on October 17 and an in-store session at Banquet Records in Kingston on October 19. Tickets go on sale on September 27th at 10am and 11am respectively. In addition, the band head to Metropolis Studios on October 20 for an exclusive intimate fan experience, only available to Mastercard holders.
Front man Jim Adkins said of the LP, which sees co-production from the band and Justin Meldal-Johnsen, who worked on their last album 'Integrity Blues', "'Surviving' explores some of the different kinds of weights my ego tells me I have to carry, what I see people around me choosing to carry and what I have found to be the truth when I choose to let go”.
The record’s first single, All The Way (Stay) looks at exposing vulnerabilities to let people see the real you, and includes swathes of guitars and even a saxophone solo. Check out the Daniel Carberry-directed video below.
