Huey Lewis And The News Release First New Song In Over 10 Years Her Love Is Killin' Me

Huey Lewis and the News are back with a new song.
Titled Her Love Is Killin' Me, the upbeat track is reminiscent of the band's 1980s heyday with bluesy guitar lines, lively organ and spirited vocals.
It marks the first new music from the legendary soul-rock band since the titular track for the 2008 movie Pineapple Express and also serves as the first preview of the hitmakers' forthcoming, as-yet-untitled, new album, their first in almost two decades, which is expected to drop in 2020. Their last LP of original tunes came with 'Plan B' in 2001.
The band first revealed details of a record deal with BMG back in January, with the news coming less than a year after Lewis was diagnosed with Meniere's Disease, an inner ear disorder that causes severe disorientation and hearing loss. Fortunately, the upcoming record was recorded before Lewis's hearing issues.
