LA Priest will release his sophomore album this spring.

'GENE', the follow-up to his 2015 debut album 'Inji' and the 2016 Connan Mockasin collaborative project 'Soft Hair', is due for release on April 24 via Domino. It was produced alongside London-based artist, producer, DJ and founder of Phantasy records, Erol Alkan.

LA Priest, aka Sam Eastgate aka Samuel Dust, worked alone in California, Wales and England for more than two years developing new material, and homemade electrical circuits that offered more than the standard drum machine.

The record will include the new alt-pop single What Moves, which comes with a video directed by LA Priest. Check it out below alongside the record's artwork and tracklist.

'GENE' tracklist:

1. Beginning
2. Rubber Sky
3. What Moves
4. Peace Lily
5. Open My Eyes
6. Sudden Thing
7. Monochrome
8. What Do You See
9. Kissing of the Weeds
10. Black Smoke
11. Ain’t No Love Affair
