The Strokes have added more US dates to their spring tour plans.
The indie rock legends will play shows at the New Orleans Saenger Theater, Austin’s Germania Amphitheater and Houston’s Smart Financial Center between May 7 and 12. Tickets go on sale at 10am local time on March 13.
The new dates extend the band’s current tour plans, which were due to conclude at the Los Angeles Forum on March 14, in support of their forthcoming album, ‘The New Abnormal’. They also play a string of festival slots around North America, South America and Europe this summer.
The follow-up to 2013’s ‘Comedown Machine’ will arrive on April 10, and so far features the singles At The Door and Bad Decisions.
