Tony Blackburn Adds Shows In Southend And Hull To Sounds Of The 60s Live Tour

Tony Blackburn has added two dates to his ongoing Sounds Of The 60s LiveTour.
The BBC Radio 2 DJ will bring songs, stories and memories from the golden decade of pop to Southend's Cliffs Pavilion and Hull City Hall on September 5 and 26, respectively. Tickets go on sale at 10am on March 20.
The tour kicked off in January and features live music performed live by the Sounds Of The 60s All Star Band. Blackburn said:
"I'm absolutely thrilled that the Sounds of the 60s live tour has proved so popular and that we’re in a position to extend the run well into 2020. It's proof that the music of the 60s is as loved now as it was back then!"
Additionally, DJ Johnnie Walker will host BBC Radio 2's Sounds Of The 70s Live On Tour, which also takes place this year.
