Toots and the Maytals have rescheduled their upcoming farewell UK tour due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The reggae pioneers will say goodbye with a show in Bexhill On Sea in August, before they head to Brighton, Nottingham, Frome, Cambridge, Cardiff, Norwich, Southampton, Bristol and London in September. Their final trek will also extend into 2021, with dates in Manchester and Leeds next May.
Original tickets are valid for the revised dates and remaining tickets are on sale now. Support will still come from Kingston vocalist Droop Lion and Cardiff reggae and ska group Captain Accident.
With a career that spans several decades, Toots and the Maytals have helped to introduce reggae music to a global audience. Their last full-length release came in the form of 2010’s ‘Flip And Twist’.
