Disturbed Postpone 'The Sickness' 20th Anniversary North American Tour

Thursday, 21 May 2020 Written by Huw Baines

Disturbed have postponed their North American tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of their debut album 'The Sickness' due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The nu-metal survivors were due to play the 2000 record in full during a marathon 31-date trek spanning July, August and September, with Staind and Bad Wolves opening the shows. In a statement, they said:

“We have waited as long as we possibly could to finalise the plans for our 20th anniversary of The Sickness summer tour. We had hoped that there would be some clear direction and guidelines on how mass gatherings would be conducted this summer.

"Unfortunately, that clarity has not come and out of an abundance of caution we have made the decision to reschedule for next summer. We are working to get these dates rescheduled and look forward to sharing an update soon.”

Refund information is set to be shared alongside the rescheduled dates. Stay tuned.
