Remi Wolf has announced her third album.

'Mud', the follow-up to 2024's 'Big Ideas', is set for release on October 9 via Island Records, with the new song Bottle set to drop tomorrow (August 20).

Featuring 11 tracks, including the previously unveiled lead single Twiggy, the album first started to come together after years of touring, writing and recording, with the California alt-pop artist finding inspiration from early sessions in Nashville before heading to the mountain resort region of Big Bear with longtime collaborator Jared Solomon and friends Jack DeMeo, Jamie McLaughlin and Gigi Grombacher.

The group reunited at New York's Electric Lady Studios before heading to Joshua Tree to finish the record, focusing on live instrumentation and recording together in the same room, with Wolf sometimes playing drums herself. She shared:

"I feel like I've crossed into a new phase of life because of this album.  I literally felt like I was covered in shit. And now, at the end of the album process, I feel so clean and clear. It has been a very cleansing record to make for me."

Wolf will play shows in Australia this December as part of the Spilt Milk Festival. Earlier this year, she made her on-screen debut in the Amazon Prime Video series Off Campus, which features multiple songs by her and a cameo in the premiere episode.

'Mud' tracklist:

1. Bottle
2. Champagne
3. Twiggy
4. Burn Me Blue
5. Jamie
6. Covered In Mud
7. Moon So High
8. I Won’t Cry
9. Wine Drunk
