Portugal. The Man have anounced Australian shows for later this year.
The Grammy Award-winning Portland-based group will take The Denali Tour to the East Coast, with shows lined up at Sydney's Roundhouse on October 14, Melbourne's Forum on October 17 and Brisbane's Fortitude Music Hall on October 18.
The shows will see lead singer-songwriter John Gourley and the band performing tracks from last year's album 'SHISH', alongside hits like Modern Jesus, Live In The Moment and Feel It Still, as well as some new material. Tickets go on general sale at 12pm local time on Friday (August 21).
Portugal. The Man kicked off The Denali Tour, which takes its name from a track on 'SHISH', with a North American leg last fall. The group are currently on the road for the summer US leg and play several festivals next month before their trip Down Under, followed by two homecoming shows and the rescheduled UK and European leg of the tour in November and December.
Earlier this summer, the group released All Your Light (Times Like These) [RZA Remix] and the Got It All (This Can't Be Living Now) [Björn Yttling Remix] to celebrate 15 years of their album 'In the Mountain in the Cloud'.
