Sir Michael Parkinson has announced An Evening With autumn UK tour.
The renowned British broadcaster will discuss his life and career at venues in Darlington, Buxton, Middlesbrough, Exeter, Ipswich, Bolton, Warrington, Kendal, Ilkley, Harrogate, Lancaster and Belfast between October 2 and November 13. Tickets are on sale now.
Parkinson began his career back in the 1960s with shows on the BBC and Granada, then went on to host his own BBC talk show series Parkinson, which ran from 1971 to 1982 and 1998 until 2007.
He has interviewed thousands of the world's top celebrities, including Anthony Hopkins, Barry White, Bing Crosby, Celine Dion, Clint Eastwood, Daniel Craig, Tom Cruise, Tom Hanks, Noel Gallagher, Ozzy Osbourne, Paul McCartney, Justin Timberlake, Jennifer Lopez and John Lennon, to name a few.
