Marc Almond Confirms 65th Birthday Charity Concert At London's Cadogan Hall For July

Marc Almond will celebrate his 65th birthday with a special London acoustic show.
The synth-pop pioneer will be accompanied by regular collaborator Chris Braide on piano for a performance of his 2015 20th studio LP, 'The Velvet Trail', in full, along with other hits and surprises. The show will also benefit the charity Headway, with tickets on general sale at 10am on June 10. Almond said:
"Headway is the UK-wide charity that works to improve life after brain injury by providing vital support and information services. They were there for me after my motorcycle crash. They are there for so many people helping them rebuild their lives. I am 65 years old this year and after all I went through that is something worth celebrating. Thank you Headway."
Almond released his latest album, 'Chaos And A Dancing Star', in 2020. He recently announced his rescheduled solo UK tour for October.
