Gorillaz Share Video For Cracker Island Featuring Thundercat

Gorillaz have shared a video for Cracker Island featuring Thundercat.
It was directed by the band's co-creator Jamie Hewlett and the Emmy nominated director Fx Goby, and finds the animated ensemble and the American artist in the latter's hometown of Los Angeles, California. Gorillaz bassist Murdoc said:
“Think of it as the final scene in the movie, the bit after the grand finale when the hero (me) is about to stride into the sunset, credits rolling. That’s right, we’re starting at the end. Why? COS I WORK IN MYSTERIOUS WAYS.”
The song arrived in June, following up their 2021 surprise EP 'Meanwhile' and latest LP, 2020's 'Song Machine: Season One – Strange Timez'.
The band will continue the Gorillaz World Tour with a headline appearance at All Points East festival in London and a show at Dublin's 3Arena in August. They also have festival performances lined up across Europe this summer, and will tour North America throughout the fall.
