Rihanna To Perform At Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show

Monday, 26 September 2022 Written by Jon Stickler

Rihanna is officially set to be the 2023 Super Bowl Halftime Show performer.

The nine-time Grammy Award-winning singer confirmed the news with a photo of her hand holding an American football posted to Instagram and Twitter. It has since been reposted by her record label, Roc Nation, the NFL and Apple Music.

The live spectacle, which was previously named the Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show, is now sponsored by Apple Music. Previous headliners include 50 Cent, The Weeknd, Shakira and Jennifer Lopez, and hip hop icons Dr Dre, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and Snoop Dogg, who performed earlier in 2022.

The halftime slot on February 12 at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona will be the Barbadian singer's first major live performance in many years. Her last album, meanwhile, was 2016's 'Anti'.
