Jimmy Eat World have released a new single, Place Your Debts.

Cast across backing synths and a slow, steady drum beat, the slow-burning yet catchy song comes fresh off the announcement that the pop-punks will support My Chemical Romance on their Australian tour in March.

Head below for the accompanying video, which was directed by and stars frontman Jim Adkins. It was filmed throughout the UK, US and Europe during the band's recent tour.

Self-produced by the band, it follows on from the quartet's June single, Something Loud, and its subsequent acoustic version in September, though there's still no word on a follow-up to their 2019 album 'Surviving'.

They'll return to the road this weekend, playing Las Vegas festival When We Were Young on October 22, 23 and 29, as well as co-headlining a show with The Maine and others on October 28 in Phoenix, Arizona (their home state).

Jimmy Eat World Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows

Fri October 28 2022 - PHOENIX Arizona - Arizona Financial Theatre (USA)
