Talking Heads' Jerry Harrison And Adrian Belew Announce North American Remain In Light Tour Dates

Talking Heads veterans Jerry Harrison and Adrian Belew have announced the Remain In Light Tour for early 2023.
Keyboardist and guitarist Harrison will reunite with core guitarist Belew, who was briefly a member of the band in the early 1980s, for 19 shows across the United States between February 16 and March 11. Stops include Denver, Oklahoma City, St Louis, Minneapolis, Chicago, Toronto, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, New York, Boston and more. Tickets on general sale at 10am local time on November 4.
The trek will commemorate the band's 1980 fourth album, 'Remain In Light'. Support will come from Cool Cool Cool, comprising former members of the defunct New York group Turkuaz. Harrison commented:
"'Remain In Light' is a high point in my career. Adrian and I had often discussed the magic of the 1980 tour and the sheer joy it brought to audiences. It is such a delight to see that joy once again in the audiences on the current tour."
Belew added: "A joyful show of Talking Heads songs you know and love performed by a hot, 11-piece ensemble including Jerry and me, You can’t help but dance and go home with a happy smile on your face."
Harrison and Belew previously teamed up to perform the record in full with Turkuaz in 2020, and in September of this year as part of a special event in Los Angeles.
