Jessie Ware Sets April Release For New Album 'That! Feels Good!', Shares First Single

Thursday, 09 February 2023 Written by Jon Stickler

Jessie Ware has announced her fifth album.

The follow-up to 2020's 'What's Your Pleasure?' is called 'That! Feels Good!' and will arrive on April 28 via EMI.

It'll include her first single of 2023, Pearls, a '70s disco, dancefloor-ready pop tune written and produced alongside Stuart Price, Sarah Hudson, and Coffee. Ware said:

"Pearls is a record that doesn’t take itself too seriously but demands you to have a dance. It’s inspired by divas like Donna Summer, Evelyn Champagne King, Teena Marie and Chaka khan and I guess attempts to show – in lightness – all the hats I try to wear (usually at the same time). It’s the second song you will hear from my collaboration with Stuart Price and Coffee – with the wonderful addition of Sarah Hudson – and hopefully gives you a taste of the fun we have working together."

Pearls will appear on the record alongside Ware's 2022 single Free Yourself. That year, she also teamed up with Kylie Minogue on Kiss Of Life, which featured on Minogue's 'Disco: Guest List Edition' LP.

Ware will is due to perform at All Together Now festival in Portlaw, Ireland in August.

'That! Feels Good!' tracklist:

1. That! Feels Good!
2. Free Yourself
3. Pearls
4. Hello Love
5. Begin Again
6. Beautiful People
7. Freak Me Now
8. Shake The Bottle
9. Lightning
10. These Lips
