Matchbox Twenty Announce Fifth LP 'Where The Light Goes' And Accompanying North American Tour

Matchbox Twenty have announced their fifth album.
The American group will release 'Where The Light Goes' through Atlantic Records on May 26. The long awaited follow-up to 2012's 'North' was produced by Gregg Wattenberg with band members Paul Doucette and Kyle Cook. As a preview, they've shared the pop-rock track Wild Dogs (Running In A Slow Dream), which you can listen to below.
The band will support the LP with the Slow Dream Tour, which features over 50 North American shows throughout the spring and summer. It'll kick off on May 16 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, and wrap up on August 6 in Chicago.
Support will come from Matt Nathanson on the first half of the run, with Ben Rector appearing for the second. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on March 24.
In the years since 'North', frontman Rob Thomas released his fourth solo album, 2019's 'Chip Tooth Smile', and in 2021 reunited with Santana for the single Move.
