Mae Muller has dropped a new single called Me, Myself & I.
Following her Eurovision 2023 UK entry I Wrote A Song, the poppy summer-ready bop marks the fourth preview of the North London artist's new album, 'Sorry I'm Late', due out on September 15.
Produced by Swedish collective NEIKED, it arrives after a period of self-reflection for Muller, with empowering tongue-in-cheek lyrics about self-love. The song's accompanying video will premiere on YouTube at 5pm BST today (June 30). Muller said:
"Me, Myself & I came so naturally because it was exactly how I was feeling. I became self-aware enough to realise that I'd always had a problem with needing male validation and thinking about how I was being perceived by men. I had to ask myself, who am I even doing this for? I got so sick of caring about other people's opinions: I went celebate for ten months, I focused on more important things. Going through that process showed me how happy I can be on my own."
This summer, the 25-year-old will play numerous festivals, including Truck, Tramlines and Victorious. She will also tour the UK and Ireland during November, and the trek includes a stop at London's Roundhouse. Tickets are on sale.
