Zak Abel Announces Second Album 'Love Over Fear' With New Single Woman

Zak Abel has announced his second album.
The follow-up to his 2017 debut, 'Only When We're Naked', is called 'Love Over Fear' and will arrive on August 25 via BMG. Introducing it, the London-born artist said:
"This new album is an expression of where I’ve been at over the last couple of years. Trying to follow optimistic, loving, positive perspectives over the ones which come from a place of fear. It’s been a slightly terrifying process of looking inwards and finding the topics that are uncomfortable to explore but evoke an emotional reaction in me. Hopefully they do the same for other people."
To accompany the news, the 28-year-old has shared a new single, Woman, which was penned alongside Jamie Hartmann. Marrying club beats with soulful vocals, it follows the previously unveiled cuts from the record, Dance With You (The Comeback) and What Love Is.
"Woman is a tribute to a woman I love," Abel added. "She's been an anchor that’s kept me grounded and a mirror to show me when I’m on the wrong path. Life is a lot richer with her by my side."
This autumn, the singer-songwriter will embark on a UK and European tour, which includes a date at London's Electric Brixton on November 24. Tickets are on sale.
