Busted Detail New Album 'Greatest Hits 2.0', Share New Version Of Year 3000 Featuring Jonas Brothers

Busted have announced a new album.
The star-studded 'Greatest Hits 2.0' will arrive on September 15 and collates the trio's most popular songs along with reworked versions. They previously teased the project with the tracks Loser Kid 2.0 with Simple Plan, Crashed The Wedding 2.0 with All Time Low and Meet You There 2.0 with Neck Deep.
It'll also include collaborations with You Me At Six, Dashboard Confessional, Deaf Havana, Charlotte Sands, Bowling For Soup, Wheatus, McFly and Jonas Brothers, who have been enlisted for a fresh take on Year 3000. Busted said:
"Year 3000 has been such a big part of the Busted journey for the last 20 years. The love that this song has just keeps growing, with the fans that were with us from the beginning and now a new generation. We were thrilled when the Jonas Brothers gave it a whole new lease of life over in the states back in 2006, so we are excited to share this new 2.0 version with them in 2023!"
Jonas Brothers added: "We were so excited to collaborate with Busted to recreate one of their classics. Year 3000 is a timeless song, and we are thrilled to share it in a new, fresh way alongside the other collaborations they’ve done!"
The three-piece – Charlie Simpson, James Bourne and Matt Willis – will take over UK and Ireland arena venues on their 20th Anniversary And Greatest Hits Tour between September 2 and October 10. Hanson will join them as special guests at all dates from September 9 onwards.

Jonas Brothers, meanwhile, announced yesterday that they're taking The Tour global, extending the 2023 North American leg of the trek with 26 new dates. They've also confirmed new concerts across the UK, Europe, Australia and New Zealand for 2024. Tickets go on general sale from 10am local time on August 4. Head here for details.
