Black Star will play a trio of special UK shows this autumn. Black Star tickets go on general sale at 10am today.
Yasiin Bey And Talib Kweli will celebrate 30 years making music together by performing tracks from their 1998 album 'Mos Def & Talib Kweli Are Black Star' and 2023's 'No Fear Of Time' at the O2 Academy Brixton in London on November 11, Manchester's O2 Victoria Warehouse on November 15 and O2 Academy Birmingham on November 16.
Bey shared his latest solo album, 'Negus', in 2019. However, it was not traditionally released, and was instead presented as an immersive sound installation at The Brooklyn Museum that could only be experienced in person.
Kweli, meanwhile, put out his latest solo album, 'Radio Silence', in 2017. Since then, he's released a number of collaborative records, including 'Blackstar' with Lupe Fiasco in 2020 and, most recently, 'The Confidence of Knowing' with J. Rawls in 2024.
