Syd has shared a new single titled GMFU.

Released through Free Lunch/Warner Records, the break-up track features Raphael Saadiq on bass and sparse, synth-driven production by legendary '90s R&B icon Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins, known for his work with Destiny's Child and Brandy and Monica.

GMFU, which stands for "Got Me Fucked Up", follows the Los Angeles singer, songwriter, producer, and leader of The Internet's breezy, summer single, Die For This, which marked her first solo release in three years.

Syd released her most recent album, 'Broken Hearts Club', in 2022. More recently, she celebrated the 10th anniversary of The Internet's 2015 third album 'Ego Death'.

Fresh from supporting Billie Eilish on the superstar's Hit Me Hard and Soft Tour, she'll join Reneé Rapp for the fall North American leg of her Bite Me Tour. Tickets are on sale now.
