Built around repetitive rhythms and stripped back production, the powerful track finds the Black Country punk duo at their most raw. Frontman Joe Hicklin said:
"A song about living low to the ground and going slow. Feeling guilt for needing a bit of time to pull yourself up by your boot straps. It’s about working through the self-hate that can come through hard times."
The song continues their run of standalone singles following the release of their second album, 'National Average.', in July. Since then, they've put out Dragged Up A Hill (And Thrown Down The Other Side), Plaintive Native, and appeared on Sleaford Mods' single The Good Life with actress Gwendoline Christie (Game Of Thrones, Star Wars).
Hicklin and Callum Moloney will embark on a UK and Ireland tour next month, followed by festival appearances at Bearded Theory in May, TRNSMT in June, and Boomtown in August. Tickets are on sale now.
