Boomtown Fair will return next summer.
The festival will take over Matterley Estate near Winchester, Hampshire in August, with Kneecap, Scissor Sisters, Madness, Skrillex, Four Tet, Faithless, Scooter, Shaggy, Ashnikko and Eve leading the line-up. Kneecap said:
“If anyone knows of 'a better way to live' it’s the sound citizens of Boomtown…This one’s going to be special, see yis all there!"
Scissor Sisters also commented: “Citizens of Boomtown, your Scissors Sisters are beyond jazzed to finally be bringing our circus to your town. We’re already dreaming of our steamy summer night together - you bring the Filthy and we’ll provide the Gorgeous. See you next summer!”
Others announced for the 2026 edition include Notion, Princess Nokia, Groove Armada, 999999999, Floating Points, Wilkinson, Antony Szmierek, Skindred, High Vis, and Big Special.
In addition to its diverse line-up, next year's Boomtown will feature significant changes to the festival's site, expanding with what organisers are calling a Chapter 5: Radical Redesign. The Lion's Den Stage will return to Temple Valley, Hilltop reclaims its creative hub role, and the Hydro Stage doubles in size as Hydro XL, pushing green innovation and production design further. Organisers also promise the redesign will give festival-goers "more space to breathe." Boomtown's co-founder Luke Mitchell said:
"Fragmentation isn't destruction, it’s transformation. By breaking what we know, we uncover new ways of being. When dancefloors embrace all ages, the energy becomes richer, more grounded, that’s the spirit we want to keep building in line with our fundamental values of creativity, connection, celebration and respect."
Discussing the line-up, he added: "Musically - While bass music has dominated in recent years and will always be at our core, we’re making a conscious move to keep Boomtown musically diverse and unpredictable. Expect more live bands and more cross-genre adventures. That’s where Boomtown began, and it’s what keeps us on the truest path forward."
This year's festival, dubbed Chapter 4: Power Of Now, featured sets from Sean Paul, Sex Pistols with Frank Carter, Maribou State, Overmono, Hybrid Minds, Nia Archives, Rudimental, The Mary Wallopers, Fat Dog, and more.
