Converge has shared another track from their upcoming 11th album.

Driven by fierce riffs and punishing drums, the emotionally charged We Were Never The Same is the closing song on 'Love Is Not Enough', due out through Epitaph Records on February 13. Vocalist Jacob Bannon said:

"I wrote these words in the parking lot of a funeral home while reflecting on loss. Why do we gather to mourn but not to cherish? It's an honest question that exposes our collective distractions and shortcomings. Grief brings clarity— We all must do better."

Introduced in November with its title track and opener, the album marks the Boston metalcore legends' first proper full-length release since 2017's 'The Dusk In Us' and 2021's 'Bloodmoon: I', the latter being a collaborative record with Chelsea Wolfe.

During a run of European dates, Converge will return to the UK in June to play Manchester's edition of Outbreak Fest. Tickets are on sale now.
