Billy Ocean has announced a huge summer show in Liverpool.
The Grammy-winning musician will headline the Salt and Tar weekender on August 13, with tickets on general sale at 9am this Friday (January 30).
The new show forms part of an already busy summer schedule for Ocean, which includes a show at Cannock Chase Forest for the Forest Live series, two performances in Halifax as part of Live At The Piece Hall series, as well as shows at Leigh Sports Village Stadium in Greater Manchester, Live At Lincoln Castle, Southampton's Guildhall Square for the Summer Sessions, Live At Llangollen Pavilion in Wales, Scarborough Open Air Theatre, Cardiff Castle's Depot Live, Sandown Racecourse in Surrey for the Jockey Club Live, and the Colchester Castle Summer Series.
Previously confirmed headliners for this summer's Salt and Tar weekender include Nile Rodgers and CHIC, The Saw Doctors, and The Waterboys. Tickets for those shows are already on sale.
Ocean released his most recent studio album, 'One World', back in 2020. Prior to his UK run ths summer, he's lined up a short US tour for the spring, and was recently announced for Camp Bestival in Dorset.
