The Black Keys Announce New Album 'Peaches!' And Two Summer London Shows

Thursday, 05 February 2026 Written by Jon Stickler

The Black Keys have announced their 14th studio album, along with details of two summer shows in London.

The Grammy and BRIT Award-winning Ohio rock duo will release 'Peaches!' on May 1 via Easy Eye Sound/Parlophone Records.

Featuring 10 tracks, the follow-up to 2025's 'No Rain, No Flowers' began while singer-guitarist Dan Auerbach's father was seriously ill and staying at his home in Nashville, with drummer Patrick Carney believing it would help Auerbach to have something to focus on. Describing it as the band's "most natural record" since their 2002 debut, 'The Big Come Up', Auerbach said:

"We weren’t making a record. We were just jamming, like this is for us. Really primal, in a moment when all the nerves were raw, just kinda screaming. We were going through a lot, trying to lift our spirits. I think my dad getting sick made me not give a fuck and just wanna scream for a bit."

Similar to the DIY approach they took on their debut, the album was recorded with all musicians playing together in the same room. It also marks the band's first self-mixed album since 2006's 'Magic Potion'.

"Everything was recorded live in one take, including the vocals,” Carney shared. "It was hard to mix, but we wanted it to sound raw." Auerbach added: "Shitty is pretty."

As a preview, the duo have shared a new single, You Got To Lose, a cathartic offering that leans into their gritty, no-frills rock roots with a raw, bluesy groove, fuzzy guitars and a driving rhythm. Head below to view the song's video, directed by E.J. McLeavey-Fisher and filmed during the band's surprise show at the famous Memphis juke joint Hernando's Hide-A-Way last month.

Auerbach and Carney have also revealed the record's cover art, which features an image by iconic Memphis photographer William Eggleston, a hero of the band's.

Following their headline appearance at Victorious Festival in Portsmouth in the summer, The Black Keys will play two London shows, the first at the Eventim Apollo on August 31 and second at the O2 Academy Brixton on September 1, with both featuring support from Robert Finley. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on February 13.
