Maya Hawke Announces Fourth Album 'Maitreya Corso' And US Tour For Spring

Maya Hawke, the folk singer-songwriter and Stranger Things actor, has laid out plans for her fourth album.
'Maitreya Corso' will arrive through Mom + Pop Music on May 1, following up 2024's 'Chaos Angel' and its four-track 'Clipped Wings' EP extension. Produced by long-time collaborator Jonathan Low, most of the songs on the album were written and recorded with singer-songwriter Christian Lee Hutson and musician Benjamin Lazar Davis.
Alongside the announcement, Hawke has shared the record's lead single, Devil You Know, a dreamy, introspective alt-pop track. Hawke said:
"Devil You Know is about trying to keep ambition and greed out of the creative process. This album generally is about learning to protect the precious from the poisonous. Protect creation from pride. Protect love from control. Protect collaboration from jealousy."
Hawke has also scheduled her first headlining US tour in three years, kicking off on April 10 in Woodstock, New York, and wrapping up on May 2 in New York City. Tickets go on general sale at 10am local time tomorrow (March 4).
Hawke will also play New York's Carnegie Hall tonight for the annual Tibet House US Benefit Concert, organised by Philip Glass and Laurie Anderson.
