Due to pre-sale demand, Celine Dion has added more dates to her concert residency in Paris later this year.
The five-time Grammy Award-winnng Canadian singer has expanded the run at the 40,000-capacity La Défense Arena with new shows on September 18 and 25, and October 2, 9, 16 and 17, adding to her previously scheduled performances between September 12 and October 14.
The residency will feature Dion performing hits in both French and English, with creative direction by acclaimed show designer Willo Perron. Tickets for all dates go on general sale at 10am local time on Friday (April 10).
Dion announced her live comeback on her 58th birthday (March 30) with a post on social media, where she shared that her return is, "the best gift of my life." The announcement comes four years after she was diagnosed with Stiff-Person Syndrome, which affected her voice and mobility and led to the postponement and subsequent cancellation of her 2023 Courage World Tour.
Her latest studio album is 2019's 'Courage', though she has since released two soundtrack albums, 'Love Again' for the 2023 romantic-comedy film, and 'I Am: Celine Dion' for the 2024 documentary about her life.
