Laufey has unveiled a star-studded video for Madwoman.
The track appears on 'A Matter of Time: The Final Hour', a deluxe edition of the Icelandic-Chinese artist's third album, 2025's 'A Matter Of Time', which was released last week and includes four new songs.
The Warren Fu-directed video, meanwhile, was shot in Los Angeles in the weeks leading up to Laufey's full Coachella debut over the weekend and features a cast of Asian and Asian-American stars, including Heated Rivalry actor Hudson Williams, Olympic champion Alysa Liu, Lola Tung of The Summer I Turned Pretty and Forbidden Fruits, and Megan Skiendiel of Katseye. Laufey said:
"Growing up, I felt a general lack of representation for people who looked like me in music and media. With the ‘Madwoman’ video, I wanted to be that representation. The result is what honestly feels like my absolute dream video and exactly what younger Laufey would have loved to see."
The two-time Grammy-winning singer will also perform at weekend two of Coachella on April 19 before continuing her A Matter Of Time Tour across Asia, Australia and New Zealand in May, June, July and August. She will also appear at Rock In Rio in Brazil in September. Tickets are on sale now.
