Zara Larsson has announced a reimagining of her fifth album, 'Midnight Sun'.
Due out through May 1 via Sommer House/Epic Records, 'Midnight Sun: Girls Trip' will feature remixes of songs from the album by a star-studded roster of collaborators, including PinkPantheress, Shakira, Tyla, Robyn, Madison Beer, Kehlani and Bambii.
The project was recently teased by the Grammy-nominated Swedish singer-songwriter with a short clip posted to Instagram that shows her entering a petrol station and choosing keychains with the collaborators' names on them.
Larsson released the follow-up to 2024's ’Venus’ last September, followed by 'Midnight Sun (+ More)' EP this March. She recently wrapped up the North American leg of her Midnight Sun Tour and will head to Europe and the UK this summer for several festivals, including BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend, Manchester's Parklife and shows supporting Lorde at London's All Points East and Edinburgh's Summer Sessions.
She's also scheduled a return to North America for slots at Chicago's Lollapalooza in Chicago on July 31 and Montreal's Osheaga Festival on August 2. Following that, she'll take the tour to Australia and New Zealand in October. Tickets are on sale now.
Earlier this month, the vocalist made a surprise cameo during PinkPantheress's set at California festival Coachella. She also features on Tyla's new single She Did It Again, from the two-time Grammy-winner's upcoming sophomore album, 'A*POP', due out in July. Head here for more details on that.
