Lizzo has has released the title track of her upcoming album.

Produced by frequent collaborators Ricky Reed, Blake Slatkin and Zack Sekoff, the summery track draws influence from '90s hip hop and interpolates Meredith Brooks' 1997 hit of the same name. The four-time Grammy-winner introduced the follow-up to 2022's 'Special' earlier this week, revealing its June 5 release date along with its cover art and tracklist, which also includes her March single Don’t Make Me Love U. On the album's title, she said:

"Reclaiming the word Bitch is power - it’s taking a label once used to diminish women and turning it into a declaration of confidence, and unapologetic self-love.

"So many incredible women in music have used the word for positivity like Meredith Brooks and Missy Elliot. It was only fitting to name my album Bitch because it has become my favorite word when using it on my own terms and because I am 100% that bitch!"

Lizzo will perform a music set and comedy set at the Netflix Is a Joke Fest at Los Angeles' Greek Theatre on May 7. In the summer, she'll partner with the National Symphony Orchestra for a symphonic reimagining of her biggest hits at the Wolf Trap Filene Center in Vienna, Virginia on July 7. Tickets are on sale now.

Since her last album, Lizzo released a mixtape called 'My Face Hurts From Smiling' last June, followed by a deluxe version in September called 'My Face Still Hurts From Smiling', featuring SZA, Lil Jon, Tierra Whack, and Doja Cat.

She's also set to release her first children’s book, Lil Lizzo Meets Sasha B. Flootin’, which follows a girl who befriends a flute, on September 8.

Lizzo Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows

Thu May 07 2026 - LOS ANGELES California - Greek Theatre Los Angeles (USA)
Tue July 07 2026 - VIENNA Virginia - Wolf Trap Filene Center (USA)
