Modern Neutrals Share New Single Beach Theatre

Thursday, 02 July 2026 Written by Jon Stickler

Modern Neutrals have released a new single called Beach Theatre.

Propelled by driving, layered guitars and impassioned vocals, the track finds the South Wales alt-rockers at their most thunderous, drawing on garage-rock, punk and heavier metal influences while exploring themes of political extremism, the spread of misinformation and division between people.

Since forming in 2019, the five-piece have steadily built their sound through a series of singles, most recently LXI and Ain't That Something, released last autumn. Their four-track debut EP, 'Paradoxes & Agonies', dropped in 2022.
