Snow Patrol have announced two London shows for later this year.
The BRIT and Grammy-nominated Northern Ireland band will return to the Royal Albert Hall on September 21 and 22 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their fourth album, 'Eyes Open'. Announcing the news on social media, they wrote:
"We knew we wanted to do a show or two to celebrate the anniversary and so we picked one of our favourite venues we have ever played. We will be playing the album in order in its entirety for the first time ever, and afterwards some more hits from across the years and maybe even a deep cut or two.
"We hope we’ll see you there. It’s a special venue and we’re sure they’ll be two special nights."
In addition to the new shows, Snow Patrol will mark the milestone with an expanded 20th anniversary reissue of 'Eyes Open' on July 24, featuring an entire bonus disc of live and stripped-back recordings from Union Chapel, as well as live tracks from Berlin, and remixes.
Last week, the trio shared a collaboration with Kylie Minogue, These Alarms, which was originally penned for the pop superstar during sessions for the band's latest album, 2024's 'The Forest Is The Path', before being shelved under the working title Kylie.
Snow Patrol will continue their run of summer dates with performances at the Live at Ludlow Castle series, Edinburgh's Castle Esplanade, and Nottingham's Splendour Festival later this month.
Tickets for their new London shows go on general sale at 10am on Friday (July 10). Their summer dates are on sale now.
