corto.alto Shares New Single IJUSTIDONTKNOW From Upcoming Album 'SOME SMALL FORTUNE'

corto.alto has shared a new single.
IJUSTIDONTKNOW is the latest track to be lifted from Scottish artist Liam Shortall's new album, 'SOME SMALL FORTUNE', which is due out on September 4 via Ninja Tune. He said:
“This is one of the first tracks I wrote for ‘SOME SMALL FORTUNE’, “IJUSTIDONTKNOW” is also one of the few songs on the album without a featured artist. I really loved exploring the space between heavier-than-usual guitar riffs, big hip-hop grooves and electronica on this one. It became an early blueprint for the sound of the record.”
The track features Glasgow-based saxophonist Mateusz Sobieski, who appears on a number of songs on the record and who co-founded GLITCH41, one of the city’s most popular live music nights, with multi-instrumentalist producer, composer and performer Shortall.
corto.alto will play a handful of festivals this summer, ahead of his in-store tour in September and UK and European tour throughout October and November. Next year, he'll headline a New York show at Le Poisson Rouge on January 22, before a big hometown gig at the Barrowland Ballroom on January 29. Tickets for all dates are on sale now.
