Introducing The Yeah You's

Tuesday, 16 June 2009 Written by Stereoboard.com
ImageThe Yeah You's are Michael Kintish and Nick Ingram, two young men welded together in pursuit of a perfect pop chorus and a late night.

Their debut single, 15 Minutes, has already made them some famous fans including none other than Radio 1's Chris Moyles and the single is now a firm favourite on The Breakfast Show. They also recently did a fantastic session with Dermot O'Leary on Radio 2 too.

ImageThe duo met through a shared love of theatre and music; keyboard player Mike, a burgeoning novelist and playwright met singer Nick when he turned up to read for one of Mike's plays. Discovering a shared love of classic pop groups such as Madness & Queen, the two immediately started writing together, their first single "15 Minutes" being one of the first things they ever wrote.

Commenting on the single, Mike says: "Warhol's adage that in the future everyone would be famous for 15 Minutes really came true with the advent of reality tv. 15 Minutes is our retort to Andy in the hope that our career lasts as long as his did!"

You want to hear more music I hear you cry! Listen to some more snippets of pop perfection which has got everyone talking below:
