It makes a pleasant change to have some people who are actually trained killers on stage instead of scroaty inner city nobs pretending to be. These are actual soldiers who are well on their way to having a hit album and maybe a Christmas number one. The MOD aren’t having a cash crisis. It’s for charity. With their debut album ‘Coming Home’ having some not insignificant chart success, the three serving soldiers have announced their 24 date national tour which will kick off on the 16th March 2010.

Their assault on the Christmas number one slot comes in the form of “A Soldier’s Christmas Letter” on the 9th of December. Charity-wise, this is what's happening: 25 pence of each sale of ‘A Soldiers Christmas Letter’ (the single) is being donated to the Army Benevolent Fund (registered charity nos 211645 and SC039189). Donations from the sale of every album and the track ‘Coming Home’ are also being donated to support three charities, Army Benevolent Fund, Help for Heroes and the Royal British Legion
