Starting in 2010 as one of the first open-air heavy metal festivals in Denmark, the event has consistently attracted some of the biggest names in the rock and metal world. Previous acts that have appeared at the festival include Guns N' Roses, Def Leppard, Gojira, Meshuggah, Mötley Crüe, Pantera, Opeth, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, KISS, Mercyful Fate, Korn, Tool, Scorpions, Lamb of God, Rob Zombie, Stone Temple Pilots, Amon Amarth, Ozzy Osbourne, Avenged Sevenfold, Ghost, Nightwish, Alice in Chains, Parkway Drive and Deftones, among others.
