Dane Baptiste is a British stand-up comedian.

He made comedy history in 2014 as the first black British act to be nominated for a Comedy Award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

He's made numerous television and radio appearances, including Tonight at the London Palladium, Mock the Week, Live from the BBC, 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, and has even hosted Live at the Apollo.

Baptiste has since written and starred in his own BBC sitcom series, Sunny D. His BBC pilot Bamous premiered in January 2021.
