The Dresden Dolls are a punk cabaret band that formed in 2008 in Boston, Massachusetts. Consisting of Amanda Palmer and Brian Viglione, who share vocal and instrumental duties between them, they would self-release their first EP back in 2001, before putting out their eponymous debut record in 2003.
